Housing Estate Services – Customer Charter
This Estate Services Customer Charter has been produced in consultation with Arches tenants. Arches Housing Ltd is committed to meeting the standards it sets out. With your ongoing help we will monitor how well we are keeping to these standards.
Service Standards
This charter sets out the standard of estate services that you can expect to receive from Arches. Estate Services, includes all external communal areas that are located on our estates as well as internal areas in block of flats. Where Arches have miscellaneous properties that are not part of a larger Arches estate, we will work together with the local authority and the local community to improve the environmental appearance of the area.
To make sure that we are keeping to these standards, we will undertake an inspection of our schemes and estates every 3 months.
We Will:
- Remove dumped rubbish from communal areas within 7 days
- Sweep and clear litter from communal car parks, paved areas and drying areas
- Remove litter from communal grassed and shrub beds
- Cut back bushes and shrubs to ensure all areas are clear and safe for access.
- Remove offensive graffiti within 1 day
- Remove all other graffiti within 7 days
How we will keep to these standards
To ensure that we are keeping to the standards that have been set, we will
- Inspect estates with local tenants every 3 months
- Ask tenants what they think to the service via surveys and other methods
- Check at least 20% of all completed jobs
- Openly encourage tenants to report any failure in meeting the standards
How we will keep you informed
So that you know how well we are keeping to these standards, we will
- Publish the results of any survey in the quarterly newsletter
- Display the result of any survey at our main office and estate based community rooms.
- Report to the Tenants Forum.
