The regulatory framework for social housing in England from April 2010

Following an extensive period of consultation, the new regulatory framework was introduced on 1st April 2010. The new framework sets out the six standards that the TSA expects all registered providers of social housing to meet, in addition to the various powers that the TSA may use where landlords underperform.
The Six Standards
- Tenant Involvement & Empowerment
- Home
- Tenancy
- Neighbourhood and Community
- Value for Money
- Governance and Financial Viability
Further information on the framework is available directly from the Tenant Services Authority (TSA) on 0845 230 7000 or via e-mail at enquiries@tsa.gsx.gov.uk. Alternatively please contact Arches direct on 0114-2288100 and we would be delighted to answer any questions that you may have about the role of the TSA or the new framework.
