Arches Housing are recruiting for a new Financial Inclusion Case Worker:

LOCATION: Burngreave, Sheffield                                 

RESPONSIBLE TO: Head of Housing Operations

HOURS: Full time (35 per week)

SALARY: £24,887

CONTRACT: 18 Month Fixed-Term


We are looking for a Financial Inclusion Caseworker to join our Income Maximisation Team, who are responsible for managing over 1200 tenancies.

With knowledge of social housing, you will provide advice and guidance to our tenants to help them maximise their income, avoid financial difficulties, and budget effectively.  You will also work closely with colleagues across the Housing team to support tenants to pay their rent, minimise arrears and prevent tenancy failure.


We're looking for an individual who has proven experience of:

  • Working in a money advice-giving environment
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to deal with various internal colleagues and external agencies
  • Engaging with a diverse customer base
  • Managing a varied caseload to tight deadlines
  • Digital record keeping and reporting information accurately, both verbally and in writing.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Welfare benefits knowledge particularly related to Universal Credit.
  • A great track record for providing excellent customer services.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and keep to tight deadlines.
  • Someone who can demonstrate an affinity to our Values and our aims and objectives as a Social Housing organisation.
