Ways to pay

How can I pay?

You can use one of the following ways to pay, whichever is easiest for you.

direct debit

We recommend that all of our customers pay us by direct debit, as it's the easiest and simplest option and means you don't need to remember to pay your rent. For more information on direct debits or standing orders, please click here.

Pay your rent online

Click here to pay your rent online through the Arches Portal. If you don't have an account set up, please give us a call and we will set you up on the system.

Pay your rent over the phone

Call 0114 228 8100 to pay your rent over the phone at any time.

Pay your rent in person

Pop into the office to pay your rent in person from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday mornings).

We do not accept cash in the office. We apologise for any inconvenience.

What if I’m on Universal Credit?

If you receive Universal Credit, you will get one monthly payment for your household. This will cover various entitlements, including housing if you are eligible.

Whether Universal Credit covers all or part of your rent, you must pay the full rent to us directly.

We suggest setting up a direct debit payment to us for the day your Universal Credit payment arrives in your account. That way you don’t need to remember to pay or worry about how much you have left for other things.
