ZERO TOLERANCE ON VIOLENT AND ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS STAFF

Arches housing were awarded an injunction with power of arrest last week following a tenant being threatening and abusive towards an officer. 

Following the incident we were in court within 48 hours to obtain the injunction which will mean that if the tenant repeats their behaviour they will be arrested and potentially face a prison term for their behaviour. In addition we have served Notice on that tenant as well and intend to apply to the courts for possession of their property.

Police have been informed of the incident and are currently investigating.
