Arches are pleased to share that at the end of September, this year, we purchased another 11 homes from Strata on their 'Breathe' development in Kiveton Park. The homes represent the latest handovers to Arches, with two more homes being expected next year. The homes are a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed family homes, located in the south west corner of the development and face out onto the edge of the estate and the woodland beyond.
Early handovers
This scheme has seen handovers taking place earlier than expected, which has been fantastic as it means we can make homes available for rent and shared ownership much earlier than we anticipated. Overall, Arches will have purchased 43 affordable homes from Strata as part of this development. The latest handover of 11 homes includes two homes for affordable rent and we are pleased to say customers have now moved in and are settling into their homes. The other nine properties are for shared ownership and are being marketed by Bell & Co who are based in Kiveton Park.
S106 planning requirement
These homes have been delivered through the S106 planning requirement to deliver affordable homes on private development sites, with the overall site being well managed and proving popular for all types of housing.
