New Electrical Partnership Ensures Continued Excellent Service for Tenants

A new partnership with Lindley Electrical will ensure continued delivery of professional specialist electrical services for Arches tenants following the retirement of long-standing contractor Earth Electrical.

After more than 20 years of working with the organisation, Earth Electrical will retire and close its business on 16 July 2026 for personal reasons. During its two-decade partnership, the company played an important role in maintaining homes and services for tenants. 

Following a competitive tender process, Lindley Electrical was successfully appointed to take over the electrical services contract. The company will be responsible for electrical testing, day-to-day repairs and maintenance, and work on void properties.

Lindley Electrical is a well-established family business led by Managing Director Josh Lindley. The company, which employs a team of eight electricians, has extensive experience working with housing associations and understands the importance of delivering reliable and responsive services to tenants.

“We have been working closely with Lindley Electrical over the past couple of months and have been very pleased with their performance and the quality of their work,” said Nicola Maguire, Responsive Repairs, Voids, Damp and Compliance Manager. “The handover process between Earth Electrical and Lindley Electrical is progressing well, and we are confident that tenants will continue to receive an excellent service.”

A successful handover meeting will take place soon, with arrangements now being finalised ahead of Earth Electrical’s retirement in July.
While residents may notice Lindley Electrical operatives attending appointments, the company’s vehicles do not carry external branding. However, all staff members will wear company-branded clothing and carry identification badges to ensure they can be easily recognised.
The new partnership with Lindley Electrical marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, ensuring residents continue to receive high-quality electrical services from an experienced and trusted contractor.
