Listening, Learning, Improving: Our Three Year Tenant Voice Strategy

We are pleased to share that we have launched our new three-year Tenant Voice Strategy – this sets out the way that our tenants shape our homes and services.

The strategy sets out how we listen to tenants, how we use their feedback to shape our services, how we meet our legal and regulatory obligations and how you can get involved!

The Neighbourhood Network, our tenant group, have been involved in the development of this strategy from start to finish – including developing the consultation plan, agreeing the content feeding back from the consultation we did with tenants last summer and agreeing the final content of the strategy.

What was clear in our consultation is that tenants told us they want a variety of ways to be consulted and involved that reflect the ways it makes it easy for them to be heard and fits in to their day to day lives and this strategy reflect this.

Principles

The three principles of the strategy are:

•    Everyone should be able to have their say
•    Your feedback should make a real difference
•    We will be open and honest

Opportunities for involvement

We are currently developing the detailed action plan that will deliver this strategy but look out for:

•    Opportunities to meet the members of our Board.
•    Our first tenant conference.
•    Information and training sessions for tenants.

For more information or to get involved go to Tenant Voice and Involvement | Arches Housing or give us a call on 0114 228 8100 and ask for Kirsty Waller, our Engagement and Communications Officer.
